Partnership Elementary School has requested Margaret Scott to spend a day with young scholars and share her journey of becoming an author with them. She will be reading from her book Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport for the students and answering their questions. Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport is an interesting children’s book based on real-life events of Jimmy the Dalmatian, who was adopted by a Scottish lady working in the USA. When she turned three it was time for her to move back to her Scottish family, however, to get the passport, Jimmy needed to visit the vet. Can she brave up and overcome her fear of visiting a vet? Margaret is a Scottish author who met Jimmy in North Carolina while working as an Operations/Program Assistant at YMCA Camp Sea Gull/Camp Seafarer. In 2015, Margret returned to Scotland which inspired her as a Children's Author following Jimmy's actual life events.
