Death is no longer a mystery.
The magic of eternity has been found.

I often hear people wondering if life carries on after death. It always makes me smile. That’s exactly what happens.

And I used to think no one would discover the truth while they were alive. I was wrong. A sixteen-year-old boy just did. His name is Jonathan Powers and this is his story.

Jonathan’s from a planet called Centurian, but that’s not where his story begins. It begins on Earth with the tragic death of a boy from London, Jonathan Prior.

Jonathan Prior’s soul travelled from Earth to Centurian and became part of Jonathan Powers. That much is as it should be. Humans join the consciousness of other humans on a distant planet when they die.

It’s what happened next that I don’t understand. Jonathan Powers entered the world of the dead, alive.

I’m still searching for answers to how he did it and I’m supposed to know about these things. My name is Rose. I’m a little robin. You might have met me outside your house or in a local park.

Don’t worry if you haven’t, you’ll meet me inside this book. I’m helping Jonathan find a way home. It’s one thing to go where only the dead have been, quite another to find a way back.

Set in Western Australia this tale of jealousy and revenge sees teenage sisters embark on a perilous ride through the outback. They must rely on the courage and devotion of their horses, Star, a black Arabian and Galaxy, a white Andalusian stallion to save them. A magic kingdom secretly existing deep in the bush harbours a bitter love triangle. The wicked fairy, Alba, will use all her dark arts to rid herself of her rival and the girls and their horses will be caught up in the crossfire. Only by seeking the help of an ancient Koori shaman can they hope to survive. The plot is exciting and contains almost every element any young girl would love, including fairies, horses, animals of every description, as well as magic, romance, and adventure in a world where girls are the ones who make the difference rather than ubiquitous boy heroes. The stories are a mix of reality and pure imagination, drawing on aboriginal mythology and traditional storytelling. They combine magical fantasy and adventure with historic evidence and theories based on modern-day fact and up-to-date research. In addition, factual details regarding the natural flora and fauna of this beautiful part of the world, make this a truly educational, exciting, and immersive read.

Join Roger on his adventures as he is being blasted back into the past. He meets many famous people, is imprisoned, and gets into other scrapes. He is helped through his ordeals by taking modern technology (his mobile phone) with him. He also meets girls along the way, although it could be the same girl throughout the ages.

His life is peppered with trips to the past and sometimes characters from the past end up in the present day, they become his friends. There are relationships, some tragedies but humans adapt. One chapter involves some of the author’s family and is a true account more tragic than any fiction could be. The reader will have to decide which chapter is being referred to.

Throughout the story there are fights, battles, mystery and the paranormal.

Finally, there is a glimpse of the future of cars and driving, not all of which is to Roger’s liking.
