The Morning Star
In this sixth collection, Terry Wilson writes about a fish that became an elephant and how this is better than becoming a human.
We all want to be elephants someday.
This is poetry about the holes in life rather than the whole of life, and what we see through them.

The Endless Wars
Human civilization has come of age. Today, we enjoy unprecedented comfort and convenience compared to our predecessors a couple of centuries ago. Yet, human relationship, like animals in the wild, has largely remained primordial in nature. Regardless of the narratives and justifications, brutal methods are still in use to dominate weaker people and societies to unscrupulously access their resources and usurp power for territorial control and/or influence to survive and thrive. Those who accumulate more resources, climb higher up the societal dominance hierarchy which further guarantees access to more resources and power. The struggle is endless!
This poetry book, The Endless Wars, is a “must read book!”. The author, David Lubari Biar Lominyo, based on his experience living through numerous civil wars in his own country, the Republic of South Sudan, as well as his long international humanitarian experience working in armed conflict situations in Africa and the Middle east, presents powerful, immersive poetic reflection of brutal action of man in armed conflict environment. He poetically and emotionally highlights the struggles, and the cries of vulnerable people.
He further reflects on the determination of nations such as Ukraine now, fighting for freedom against external invasion. Lubari notes that where poor people have struggled and installed a democratically elected government in power, the primordial instinct of the leaders, colluding with the unfair world, may still take advantage of the unequal power relationship with their impoverished population. He offers tools for peace building and leadership skills to improve on societal stability and performance.

I Have Something To Say
The potential readership of this book is wide and varied. The book is humorous in places and in others, almost spiritual. It is written for those who have lost a spouse or other loved one, for those with a mum or dad, son or daughter, or grandchild. It is for those who have been to sea and understand this awesome place. It is for those who have thought about their own mortality and those who grieve. It is also for those who have thought about the deeper aspects of life, death, and the universe. The poems are diverse, powerful, intense and, at times, sensitive and intimate. It is hoped also that some will make you laugh as well as cry; they will certainly make you think. In short, this book is for you.

The Black Feather
In your hands
Lies a journey
The ultimate journey
The one we take to find our selves
To die and to be reborn
To travel among the dreams we desperately fight for
To encounter pain
It has so many faces: abuse, death, depression, the loss of self
To keep on guarding hope
To finally embrace beauty and love
To find
The voice within

The Fly Sermon and Other Odes
For over forty years I’ve been writing odes about people, places, and experiences in my life. My career in education has been amazing and at times intense, but I managed to escape to hobbies and interests and always attempted to summarise in the form of an ode.
These were all placed in boxes and stored away until now. When I retired from teaching, I opened the boxes and read through the odes. They were almost like a diary of my life so far.
I’ve selected 21 odes for this collection. They are about friends, holiday experiences, hobbies and sometimes things that happened in my school life.
My favourite is The Fly Sermon. I wrote it 36 years ago for children to recite in their assembly about tolerance for others and non-discrimination. The theme is as important now as it was then. Our life is surrounded with all sorts of living things, which we should respect and learn to live with, regardless of quirks, traits, or physical features.
I’ll remember whenever a fly I do see,
The importance of living in close harmony.£3.50 -

Time Is the Essence of Grace
When the Father asked, ‘Do you want to write?’ the invitation was presented, and the response was a resounding ‘Yes!’ This book offers a unique opportunity to glimpse into the Father’s heart, as the author put pen to paper, often unsure of what would come forth. Within these pages, you will find solace for the lonely, hope for the longing, and comfort for those who feel forgotten. You may even discover your own story woven into the lines. At times, you will find yourself choking back tears, while at others, smiling at the victories. Yet, you will never be left without hope, just as the Father intended.
Each poem takes you on a soul-stirring journey, opening up your imagination. Much like the man in the hospital who found his Savior at the very end, or the woman in the park who discovers the answer she desperately seeks, these poems offer connection and guidance. The young teenager, unsure of her path, finds the courage to step out and embrace Hope. The poems in this collection are both inspiring and encouraging. Each one is unique and timely, serving as a gentle reminder of the deep love and care the Creator has for every human being. As you spend time meditating on the lines penned herein, you will undoubtedly find yourself uplifted and enriched.
