Austin Macauley’s Publication, Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman has been reviewed in the Journal of Liberal History on the 3rd of February, 2020. The review is given by Tony Greaves who now serves as a Liberal Democrat. The review discusses the beautifully written biography of Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman.

 

The book describes the life and events of the British Prime Minister between 1905-1908, Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman. He was known for the restorations of the fortune of his party and also for the greatest landslide victories in British Politics. He also served as MP in the House of Commons for a long period. Dr Alexander (Sandy) Somerville Waugh was born in Dumbreck, Glasgow. He used to be a contributor to the Journal of Liberal History. He has been a member of Scottish Liberal Democrats also. He died in Banchory in July 2017.
