Our brilliant author, David Bradshaw, got his book, Edie’s Last Christmas featured in the Longford Diary. The book was regarded as a well-described, marvellous read as it is based on the real story of the author’s parents, Eric and Edie.

The book, Edie’s Last Christmas is a real story of the author whose mother died just a week before Christmas. David’s parents had totally different personalities, David’s mom, Edie celebrated every event and had a wicked and uncontrolled sense of humor but his father, Eric had no sense of humor at all. The story is all about the traumas faced by Eric after Edie’s death.

David Bradshaw was born in Stamford and moved to the country with his family when he was 11 years old. There, he spent the most susceptible phase of his life. He served in the navy for a short period of his life but mainly he spent his life working in financial services
