Village Connection Magazine has recently featured author Lina Beckett along with her acclaimed book What’s Wrong, Arty? The article featured a brief synopsis of the book and Linda’s journey towards becoming an author. The article also mentioned the book’s success on Amazon as it reached the top 100 in Children’s and Young Adult Mental Health category. The author’s social media links along with the cover of the book and an illustrated page were also featured in the article. A review from an Educational Psychologist was also presented.

The Story is about Arthur, a large brown bear well known as Arty by his friends who experiences everyday problems in his life. Linda’s articulate descriptions generate appealing imagery for the children. The book can be used as a tool to talk about problems with their children.

Author Lina Beckett is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society and attained an Honours Degree in Psychology with the Open University. She is highly aware of the problems children face in their daily life, this was the inspiration behind her book What’s Wrong, Arty? Linda lives in a lovely village in Hampshire County with her husband, Rod and loves to travel.
