BBC Radio Cambridgeshire Interviewed Jemima Price for her Book, Finding Ruby

Richard Spanner interviewed Jemima Price on December 28 2021, about her book, Finding Ruby.  Price explains how the protagonist of the novel, named Ruby, is happy with her London life and designer bags. Her boyfriend convinces her to take an international backpacking trip for her birthday. The character is based on Price’s experiences with her boyfriend when she took a similar international trip across 20 countries. “We found ourselves in sticky situations where we were stuck somewhere at one point and did not have our passports or visas in Borneo, and it was a long difficult process to get back.” Price explained how when she returned with her boyfriend, it was difficult to adjust back to normal life in London. You can listen to the interview here on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire from the 3 hr 10 min mark onwards.
