Finding Handel takes us in the private life of famous composer Frideric Handel when he is met with an accident during his travel to Holland. The accident left him with physical injuries and a shaken faith when he met with a hermit and an abused servant girl that nursed him back to health. The unforsaken circumstances seriously questioned Handel's beliefs, recalling his love, pondering on his musical triumphs and left him questioning his life choices. The author, Helen Dymond, has a long time fascination with the composer Frideric Handel. The obsession started in the 1980s after her performance in the Handel Opera Chorus. She wrote multiple plays featuring Handel's work. She also has four decades-long experience in teaching English and Humanities. She last taught at the City Lit, London, on the philosophy of religion and Handel’s Operas and Oratorios.
