One Carer’s Account of Living with her Husband’s Leukaemia Diagnosis is a testament of enduring love and care Jennifer gave to Peter Rogers after he diagnosed with a rare disease in 2011. It is the story of Peter’s struggle with the dreadful disease for three years of his life. Through all the processes, Peter kept a detailed record of his treatment and acknowledged his dedicated health workers for the care he received. Jennifer Rogers unselfishly devotes herself to him, not only dealing with his illness but also cherishing memories of their lives. It is a heart-wrenching story of love and loss. Jennifer hopes that her words will comfort and provide advice for those who find themselves in a similar situation.

Jennifer Rogers was born in Edgware, Middlesex in February 1950. She attended Primary and Grammar schools, after which she studied English in college. She then spent several years teaching in elementary school before dedicating her life to being a housewife and mother of her three children.
