The Crossingway is a young adult book about a young boy, Howell, who faces strange situations and occurrences. First, his mother disappears following a crash in the mountains. Second, he finds out from his uncle that only he, Howell, can find his mother. Along with this mysterious phase in his life, Howell comes across people who save him from oncoming dangers. As Howell's birthday is just around the corner, he realizes his need to go through the Crossingway to find more answers. Will Howell finally hear the truth?

 

Lynn H. Elliot is an award-winning playwright and screenplay writer who completed his doctorate from the University of California. Lynn has written numerous books for children over the years, including The Crossingway. He lives with his wife, Dani, in Chico, California.
