The Film by George Amos featured in a Newspaper, The Enquirer

The feature has reviewed George Amos’ debut novel and shared his background which influenced the writing of The Film.  It also announced the upcoming book of author The Wall of Shame which is a sequel to The Film.

The Film is a historical fiction set in the dramatic period of the First World War. Veteran John Groves is determined to keep his family safe at any cost. In the times of chaos, can odds turn in his favour when high-ranking German officers decide to visit his family residence? Would a favourable alliance develop?

George Amos lives in Essex with his wife. He has two sons and a daughter. He was born in post-war Hertfordshire and was raised in London while it was regenerated from the rubbles. He was inspired by his surroundings and at a young age, his interest developed in historical events. He had a busy business life which provided the opportunity to travelling to several countries, offering exposure to polish the writer within him. It was not until he retired from his work that he finally sat down and started writing stories that he wished to share with the world.
