Fred and Friends Author Margaret Chambers Interviewed by The Stamford Mercury

Margaret Chambers, who recently authored the children’s book, Fred and Friends – The Magic Boat, had an article featured about her work in the esteemed newspaper, The Stamford Mercury. The Stamford Mercury is ‘Britain's oldest continuously published newspaper title’ covering the latest news and sports from Stamford. Retired for four years, Margaret thought of bringing her storytelling skills to good use during the lockdown. She authored this book telling the story that she used to tell her children. The book is based on the friendship of rabbit brothers, Fred and Robert, Cyril Squirrel and Henry mouse. This group of four are always out seeking different adventures and having a great time. They find an idle boat by the river and set out on another exciting adventure.
