John Bown is a retired police officer and an overseas police adviser with experience in Ethiopia, Jamaica, Nigeria and South Sudan. He grew up in a small holding in Derbyshire and has had a personal faith that guided his life. He enjoys recalling humorous and frightening incidents from his career.
