Kevin Thomson Talks About His Children’s Storybook on BBC Radio Oxford

Kevin Thomson was invited to a BBC Radio Oxford show, the Adam English Show, for discussing his new children’s storybook, Willy and Wally, the Windscreen Wipers! on Thursday, 27th July 2022. The author narrated the process of how he came up with the storyline of the book.

Willy and Wally, the Windscreen Wipers!  is targeted at primary school children. It is based on the witty characters of Willy and Wally, the two windscreen wipers who come to life when nobody’s looking. They set off on various adventures along with their other buddies, Milly and Molly, the rearview mirrors and Horatio, the headlight, and Boddington the bumper, amongst others. It is a book equipped with colourful illustrations to keep children enticed all along. Kevin Thomson has been residing just outside Abington-on-Thames for the last 3 decades. He takes pride in having two offspring and two grandchildren off of them. He has worked as a sales director, a copy writer, and a creative director in the respective field of design and marketing all his life. Finally, he felt the urge to come up with a book for his grandchildren, and subsequently, it is gaining immense popularity among children.
