Renowned author of the book How he Robbed me of my Three Baby Daughters, Maggie Colombe, was featured in a news article in BookLife by Publishers Weekly on 30th April 2020. The article discusses the memoir and what all compelled the author to write about her tragic past.


The book shares tragic memories of Maggie’s marriage and breakup. Her husband was involved with an underage teenage girl. When he lost his favourite teaching job, his affair was apprehended and he eloped with the underage girl with his whereabouts unknown. Maggie moved into a bungalow in the Bolton area in Lancashire. One day his husband suddenly appears and takes the three daughters away with him saying they are going on a four-week vacation. Maggie Colombe was born and educated in Glasgow. She lived a normal life with her husband and three daughters. In a drastic turn of events, she suddenly losses her daughters, which causes a disturbance in her life. She now does bookkeeping for several companies in England.
