Portia Stanton-Noble Attended 'Books by the Bridge' Author Event

An authors’ event ‘Books by the Bridge’ was held at the Novotel Barossa Resort. Our author, Portia Stanton-Noble – writer of the crime book The Big Dead Dry’ also attended and met fellow authors. Portia also signed the copies of her books for fans. She shared that two years back she attended this event as a booklover and now it was an honour to be there as an author.

 

The Big Dead Dry is about murders taking place in a small town in South Australia. It tells the story of a woman named Raquel Willaston who moves into the town and gets stuck in all these occurrences. Detective Phillip Duncan is carrying out an investigation of these murders. There are a lot of other interesting characters too in the town and identifying the murderer becomes a huge challenge. Click here to access the book.

 

Portia Stanton-Noble was born in Melbourne and has worked in different sectors. She was always interested in writing and also wrote for newspapers. She currently resides in South Australia and is working on other books in her spare time.
