Preloved website features Q&A session of ‘Pauline Emsley of ‘Rag Doll Lost’

The website features a questioning and answering session about the author of the book,’ Rag Doll Lost’, which discusses reducing waste and recycling (why it’s important), favourite books as a child and Inspirations to her writing. The author speaks about the book as, ‘Most of all I want children to love reading the story, the rhyme and rhythm, which should be fun to hear, read and read together too for a giggle.’

This is a story about a little girl, Georgie who once loses her Special Rag Doll in the wild. The doll spends the night all alone in the darkness and is visited by some curious animals. She is found the next day by Georgie and to make sure that she never lose her again, she up‐cycles a pair of old tights that are too small for her and makes a clever little carrier for her Rag Doll.

The author, Pauline Emsley brings imaginations and reality to life. Her mother referred to her as a daydreamer who would always wander into bluebell woods.

Pauline believes that we can achieve peace and tranquillity in our lives through storytelling as it holds the key to health and happiness.
