Sue Pepper, the Author of Life After Death Delivered a Talk at the Ladies Club

Tenterden Ladies Luncheon Club, for Cancer Research, invited Sue Pepper to deliver a talk at a fundraising event which also marked as their hundred and fifth get-together. The talk went well and the ladies were very attentive. Sue also signed some copies of her book Life After Death and received an appreciation letter. Judith, the sender of letter thanked Sue for taking out time and helping in raising funds. Life After Death is an inspiring autobiography of an energetic and physically active girl who carried her athletic passions into womanhood until her late thirties when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The condition took away from her the strength to play her favourite sport, badminton, and gradually leaving her with limited mobility. Hi also brought a re-evaluation of nature of friendships and work relationships. She did not give up and fought back with courage taking her swimming to the level of the National Championships. Sue Pepper was a brilliant student at Oldborough Manor Secondary School, Maidstone. Later, she joined Technical College but struggled to score a job. She hesitantly took her father’s offer and joined his law firm temporally. Six years later, she qualified as a Legal Executive. She also joined the Chief ​Prosecuting Solicitors Dept. of the Kent County Council.
