Gillian Richmond lives in Northumberland, England, but is originally from the city of Newcastle upon Tyne. She retired early from chemistry teaching, with her inspiration for writing rhyming stories beginning when her son began his own picture book journey as a young child. Reading and choosing books from the local library and bookshops. Gillian particularly loved the world of rhyming stories.
my son loves rhyming stories and this one doesn't disappoint. especially fond of the one eyed dog! It helped my son learn how to tell the time with the clock in the thought bubble. A really sweet book hope the author has more stories like it

Read this book and became completely engrossed, keenly anticipating what happens next as the journey of the old man progressed. The repeating nature and cleverness of the rhyme are enchanting, and the children love it! Highly recommend this story for anyone looking to buy a fun educational book.
