In Blue: Tiny Tales of Friendship, children will learn about the qualities that make a good friend through seven heart-warming stories featuring three animal friends – a small grey mouse, a robin, and a fat ginger cat. Set in a village where magic and mystery abound, these tales follow the characters as they discover the power of kindness and friendship and are changed forever by the events they experience. From helping a stranger with an extraordinary gift to learning to love and respect one another at school, these stories will teach valuable lessons about friendship and the importance of being kind. Along the way, secrets are kept and lives are saved – and kids will even find out what all that blue wool is used for!

Mary Lawson was born and raised on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales and has inherited the Celtic tradition of being a fine storyteller.

She has spent her adult life dedicated to teaching and inspiring children. She has been a head teacher in Church of England schools and a Hindu faith school and was the Diocesan Director of Education for Leicester.
