Book Description

This sci-fi adventure novel is set on the planet Mars in the year 2050 and is an exciting and emotional tale of good against evil. The story focuses on 16-year-old twins, Ben and Lakshmi. The twins’ parents are part of the planet’s space exploration programme, but one day, while conducting a research mission outside the Mars City dome, the parents are reported missing and presumed dead. One of their friends, whose mother also disappeared on a previous mission, tells the twins that she suspects their parents have been kidnapped. Although Ben and Lakshmi want to believe her, they struggle to find evidence to support her theory.

Eventually, they abscond from the college, disguise themselves as expedition pilots, and take a space rover to explore the canyon where their parents vanished. On their mission, they find alien footsteps, which give them hope that their parents may be alive. The twins’ struggle to find their parents takes many twists and unexpected turns.

Steve ‘Bubba’ Turner has spent the past 15 years working in Healthcare and prior to that he served in the Royal Navy.
