Book Description

Rita Hush knows she’s lucky. She lives in a dream location with her Border Terrier Jazz, walks most days, along the beach to her dream job in the village library where, along with her sidekick, Sharon, they entertain the punters and serve the community in equal measure. The only thing missing is her dream man and she’s in no hurry to find him, much preferring her hard-won independence and freedom. When a psychic brings through a message from her beloved Granny Maggie advising that despite her idyllic lifestyle, she needs to prioritise mending her badly bruised heart, Rita goes on a voyage of self-discovery and with a little help from her friends, gets way more than she bargained for.

Maggie was raised on a farm in Ayrshire. She visited the library frequently as a youngster and became an avid reader, a passion which has stayed with her all her life.

Once her daughters were at school she secured her dream job in a library, dedicating many happy years serving the community.

As an avid book reader myself, I loved reading the stories of Rita's job in the library and all the characters she meets from the local village, and her fight to save her beloved library. Read about how Rita meets her soulmate and best friend Fergus, and their shared interest in the spiritual world and love of nature and the outdoors. Not to mention the handsome vet who has set his sights on Rita! Rita's dog Jazz also has a helping hand in her love life. Will Rita save the library and find true love?..... A well written book giving off positive vibes!

When Rita felt overwhelmed there was only one thing for it - ask the universe for help. Loved this rollercoaster journey Rita was on while she navigated her way through her identity, job and relationships.
