Book Description

Throughout its existence, the human race was being observed by higher beings. These higher beings don’t belong to this realm of reality and grew tired of going back and forth through time and space. They decided to create a race of extraordinary people that would watch over humanity and protect them from the mythical beings that go unnoticed. These watchers remain in the shadows until the day Helen stumbles across one who will take her on a journey into his world. She will learn about the mysterious man’s history, meet more of his kind, and find out about the true nature of these ‘Guzilumans’.
In the background, mysterious forces are plotting their revenge on this man.

Born in 1984, A.W. Kerrison has worked a number of different jobs through the years and then became a full-time carer for his younger brother. In his spare time, his hobbies include building models, listening to a wide variety of music and reading. He also co-runs a YouTube channel called FFSI.

An avid fan of sci-fi and fantasy, he has always had a vivid imagination, coming up with several story ideas. A few years ago those ideas became a concept which became an entire world. He decided to put it down in writing, and it became a series of books.

An excellent read, unexpected content and the characters are magnificent and the storyline is superb. The way it describes events and actions, would be superbly into a film. A thoroughly good read, highly recommended. Looking forward to the sequels.

A fascinating read, from a promising new author. The plot combines elements of mystery, action and tension, while the detailed character descriptions provide a clear image for the reader. An interesting writing style, combining events in the past and present to develop a powerful mix of sci-fi, fantasy and action.

Ever had the feeling human history was being guided by beings from beyond this realm? Meet the Guzilumans—the ancient architects of civilization—and their deadly rivals, the Flamerites. The story follows a woman thrust into the center of a monumental secret: the discovery that these original guides have quietly shaped mankind since its inception. Now caught in a centuries-old war that spans the stars, she becomes the pivot point between two cosmic forces. What sets this novel apart is its relentless, breathless delivery. Written in a sharp, present-tense prose, the narrative offers a visceral, "real-time" feel that makes every discovery and narrow escape feel immediate. By blending high-tech sci-fi elements with the weight of ancient myth, the author transforms a grand galactic struggle into a fast-paced, personal race for survival. It is a rhythmic experience that successfully bridges the gap between high-concept lore and heart-pounding action. The book itself is well produced with good quality paper, good layout/design and a glossy cover. If you want a story that feels like a high-speed chase through a labyrinth of gods and gadgets, this is a must-read. It’s imaginative, rhythmic, and highly recommended.

This is a book that griped my interest from the jacket description, a very interesting premise. After reading it, I enjoyed the characters and the situation the characters found themselves in, it was an enjoyable read and finding it was the writers first book, I found it surprising, but saying that some of the descriptions were very detailed and I’m sure the writer will find his feet with narrowing down the amount of detail in the narrative to help it flow more naturally, I look forward to the next book in the series.

A great book, with interesting and believable characters and plenty of action within the storylines, enough to keep me engaged from start to finish

I enjoyed reading this book. I thought the storyline was very imaginative and description of the characters very precise. Once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait to read the following books.
