And so, they embark on a madcap, free-spirited, globetrotting adventure, getting into all kinds of scrapes and mayhem; even the King of England catches the scoundrel raiding his larder, a ruffled policeman is after Kamehameha’s blood and an ancient Chinese wizard is after his bits and pieces. The President of the United States of America is none too pleased with his recent dinner guest either, and, of course, the clink is always lurking on the horizon.
Do Toni and her king find the loves of their lives and more to the point, do they manage to keep them?
Sadness, humour, suspense and challenges are woven throughout the story but on top of their respective lists is the delightful goal of remaining young at heart and being as free as the wind.
