More than twenty years after the tragic murder of his wife, as recounted in First Shot: Last Chance, Ike Cobb returns in a riveting new tale. Now joined by his granddaughter Kit, who was born just months after the tragedy, Ike finds himself defending the accused murderer of a U.S. Senator’s son.

As Ike and Kit navigate their evolving relationship, they uncover a sinister conspiracy orchestrated by the billionaire father of the Senator’s wife. This dark plot weaves through their pursuit of justice, raising the stakes with every twist and turn.

Can Ike and Kit’s combined efforts unveil the truth in the courtroom and expose the real culprits?

Reared in Tennessee and educated at Harvard College and the University of Tennessee Law School (where he was Editor-in-Chief of the law review), Sidney Davis spent 43 years as a litigator based in New York City. He handled litigations in 24 states and tried cases in New York, Florida, Texas, California, Alabama, and Washington DC. Known by many of his peers as ‘the father of accounting defence’ for his extensive work for three major accounting firms, Sidney began writing novels in his eighties in an effort to entertain his wife, as well as keep her mind sharp.
