Book Description

A goblin built for war, a human king stolen from his throne, and a darkness rising beyond their wildest fears.

Lazaroo was created to be the fiercest warrior the goblins of Mungral had ever seen, a weapon designed to crush the Kingdom of Men. But when his mission to kidnap the human king goes horribly wrong, Lazaroo finds himself stranded in the legendary Realm of Chaos, where ancient monsters, lost legends, and a dark wizard named Malakar threaten to consume the world.

Forced into an unlikely alliance with King Bruan, Lazaroo must confront not only the dangers of this forgotten land but also the truth of his own creation. Together, they face sea monsters, dragons, and their deepest fears as they race to stop Malakar’s rise or watch their world fall into darkness forever.

Will Lazaroo fulfil the destiny written for him, or carve out a new one of his own?

Epic battles, unlikely friendships, and a pulse-pounding adventure in a world where courage is found in the most unexpected places.

Nick Lawson has spent much of his career advising governments and businesses on energy and finance, from nuclear power to the global metals that fuel the modern world. Away from this, he escapes into the world of Loarn, where goblins, dragons, and ancient mysteries unfold.

Inspired by his lifelong love of storytelling and encouraged by his three sons, Nick began writing Lazaroo in the Realm of Chaos to explore themes of bravery, kindness, and being different. He lives between Buckinghamshire and Fife with his wife and sons and Ukrainian ward. When he’s not writing or working, he is an enthusiastic cricket coach, a fan of (very) heavy metal and an eternally optimistic Aston Villa supporter.
