Claire came and shared her book with my class of 4 and 5-year-olds. The children enjoyed listening to the story about Claire's adventures with her pet zebra. The story lent itself to the children using their imagination and thinking about an animal they would like to go on an adventure with. The bright and colourful pictures provide opportunities for the children to talk about patterns and counting. It was a great experience to have an author visit and it inspired the children to write creatively.
