And, more importantly, can they share it?

Kirsty Howarth lives in a small village in North-West Leicestershire with her family, Chris (Partner), Ethan (son) and Poppy (daughter). Her love of the outdoors and her young children have inspired the story of Willow’s Wood.

Every day was an adventure and full of imagination and is something she wishes and hopes for, not only her own children, but for every child growing up.

Another brilliant book from Kirsty Howarth! Skull and Cross Bones is such a fun pirate adventure – full of rivalry, treasure hunting and cheeky scoundrels. My kids loved the excitement of the two captains racing for the prize, and I really liked the way the story gently weaves in a lovely message about sharing and working together. They were especially excited by what the treasure turned out to be – but no spoilers here! This really is a book for all ages: perfect to share with little ones who aren’t reading yet, a lovely choice for early readers, and great fun for older ones who enjoy reading stories aloud. I ordered one for myself and one for a gift - perfect for any child. The illustrations are gorgeous too – bright, detailed and full of character. It’s one of those books that’s just as enjoyable for the grown-up reading it aloud as it is for the children listening. We’re big fans of Kirsty’s books in our house and this one didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait to see what she brings out next! I highly recommend all of her books!
