Sue Sibbons was born in Kent, England and now lives in Sydney, Australia with her husband David. Sue is currently working as a professional nanny, which has included a number of high profile clients over the past 18 years. She loves looking after children and is very passionate about early childhood education, which inspired her to create her first children's book.

    This book is a pure delight to read and a wonderful introduction to the alphabet for any child. Its uncomplicated and direct associations to the alphabet will be a fantastic learning tool for any child to enable them to quickly memorize the alphabet which is so important to the understanding of the written word. I am absolutely sure its colourful layout and alphabet characters would encourage any child to read this book again and again. I would highly recommend this book to any parent as an introduction to educate their child in their literary skills.

    I read this book to a class of 4/5 year old. The pictures were colourful and bright. The story was easy to follow and maintained interest throughout. I would definitely recommend this book .

    Colourful alphabet characters with all vowels in red, (a great idea by the author) and a lovely storyline set in rhyme. I really enjoyed reading this book to my 3yr old niece.

    A wonderful and engaging book, the illustrations are bright with the alphabet characters being very appealing. The Vowels are all the same colour. A clever idea to assist young children with their learning.

    I brought this book for my niece and nephew, they simply love it! Its a very clear, bright and colourful book that they insist I read with them every time I visit. Alphabet Picnic is a must purchase and i'd highly recommend it as a stocking filler for any young readers. Its an excellent educational aid set within an engaging story with excellent illustrations. We shall look forward to the writers next scribe!

    This book is just fabulous, my daughter absolutely loves it! It's a beautifully written story using all the letters of the alphabet. It also has educational rhyming throughout as well as having all the vowels highlighted at the end of the book. The illustrations are beautifully done and lots of fun, we love it!
