Christopher D. Taylor was born in Leicester. He wrote a few short stories when he was young, but years went by before he completed his first novel, The Circle. He now lives in Loughborough with his wife and three children. A fan of fantasy fiction, Christopher wanted to blur the line between science fiction and fantasy. He spent thirteen years in the prison service before taking on a more clerical role. Christopher started writing as a way of dealing with mental health issues and found an enjoyment in it that led to completing The Circle.

I thought I would have to make time to read this book but when I started I couldn't put it down. I found this book gripping and can't wait to see if there is more.

The characters are all well written and my personal favourites are Moss, Elliott and Nari. The characters are all fleshed out and have there own personal journey while still fitting with the main story

What a brilliant novel. From the first few pages it played out as a film in my mind, full of fascinating characters, excitement and wonder. I enjoyed it immensely from beginning to end. The passion you have for your writing and the skill with which you pen your characters shines through every page! I can't wait for the publication of the second book in the trilogy.
