In The Fairies at the Gate, prepare to be swept off your feet by Mrs. Forget-Me-Not, the enigmatic Fairy of Wishing Point, as she embarks on an enchanting quest to the mystical Amethyst Raveen, hidden behind the cascading waterfall of Daffodil Way. Alongside her, journey through the Forgotten Forests and meet an unforgettable cast of magical beings: Leo the Lilac Fox, Lolly the Yellow Caterpillar, Dooley the Thimble-Sized Moth, Mr. Hoggy Hedgehog, the Seven Bearded Mice of Patchouli Mountain, and her most cherished companions: her trio of miniature silver Yorkie fairy terriers.

Contrary to popular belief, Mrs. Forget-Me-Not is not just a feared fairy; she is a complex character: fierce, yet infinitely kind and gentle. This enthralling tale weaves themes of adventure, compassion, love, courage, and the awe-inspiring magic that binds them all.

As the enigmatic purple smoke engulfs Mrs. Forget-Me-Not’s fairy castle atop its hill, every fairy in the land understands the gravity of what’s to come. Do you have the courage to join them? Venture forth into a story not meant for the timid, but for the valiant and kind-hearted. Come and unravel the magic for yourself!

Sarah Murray Walsh is a singer-songwriter from Cork, Ireland. After spending much of her adult life in the throes of business, she took a break from this fast-paced world to find the time to write her first book, The Fairies at the Gate, after welcoming her first born daughter into the world in December of 2021. The Fairies at the Gate is Sarah’s first published adventure, a lovingly crafted tale of magic, courage, loyalty, friendship, and bravery.
