Book Description

A wave of celebration swept the neighbourhood when the long-lost parcel was finally discovered at the airport. For everyone, the find was a heartwarming reminder of why it’s so important to protect the rare and wonderful animals we share our world with.

Danni Aubrey has worked with children for almost two decades (in the Health Service as a paediatric speech and language therapist). It was whilst homeschooling her daughter during the pandemic that she wrote stories to inspire her daughter’s love of English.  She hopes to make children giggle and find humour through stories.

This is a lovely, fun and humourous book. It is perfect for early readers or a enjoyable bedtime read with parents. The rhyming style enhances the fun and will help with literacy. Highly recommend!

My 6 year old daughter loved this book. She was gripped by the unique storyline and asking about the main character Amber-Sunset the next evening - highly recommended

We absolutely loved this rhyming story. It made us laugh and laugh. Perfect for young children but not too simple. Plenty of content and a joy to read with a fabulous use of language. We adored the red panda and is fantastic for the 4-7 year-old age range. Would very highly recommend.

This pleasing gem of a book slots into a much needed genre between picture book, poetry and chapter book. It's imaginative text flows along, with excellent vocabulary and educational facts woven into an engaging and entertaining story. The gorgeous illustrations bring the characters and story to life, adding to it's charm. Can't wait for a sequel and more stories by the same author. (Mrs M Carpenter: mum, teacher, MA. Ed).

What a joy to find this fun book with a simple and fun storyline but sufficiently challenging vocabulary to both entertain and stretch your child. Parents and children alike will enjoy the rhyming structure. Perfect as a bonding bedtime read for younger children or an independent read for an older child. Can’t wait for more from this author.
