Born in India, Clifton Aubrey Lath moved to England in 1963. He went to school in Harrow and joined a band in the seventies as a drummer and vocalist. During this time, he also began writing songs and short stories. The Lonesome Clown song was born from this creative period. In 1990, he got married and had three children. Later in 2002, he achieved a Guinness World Record for singing non-stop for 24 hours. Clifton then produced some music videos for his songs and uploaded them to YouTube. He currently runs a family business with his wife and children, finding time to write whenever possible.

Awesome read. The vivid descriptions transport you straight into the world of cowboys, rodeo competitions, and the fascinating lives of early settlers. The blend of history, love, and the raw power of nature creates a gripping narrative that is impossible to put down. What sets this story apart is its focus on the life of a rodeo clown, a unique and often overlooked perspective. The bravery and dedication of these characters shine through, making them unforgettable. The writing is as vast and powerful as the landscapes it describes, and the themes of resilience and community resonate deeply. This book is a must-read for anyone who loves stories of adventure, survival, and the human spirit. Highly recommended!
