Born in India, Clifton Aubrey Lath moved to England in 1963. He went to school in Harrow and joined a band in the seventies as a drummer and vocalist. During this time, he also began writing songs and short stories. The Lonesome Clown song was born from this creative period. In 1990, he got married and had three children. Later in 2002, he achieved a Guinness World Record for singing non-stop for 24 hours. Clifton then produced some music videos for his songs and uploaded them to YouTube. He currently runs a family business with his wife and children, finding time to write whenever possible.
