I have absolutely enjoyed reading this book during my long commutes back home from London. I started reading this book because of the thriller tag and it delivered through the journey we get taken on with the friends: Pam, Aimes and Frank in the town Ninder. It has been a while since characters have come to life as I read a book. There were times it got me looking at myself and how I handle challenging situations as supposed to how the characters did. An example is the interaction between Andrew and his father. I have experienced different emotions reading the book: anger, fear, blame, hopelessness, vengefulness but also encouraged not to give up either. Every little you do now does add up. The book reminds me of one of my favourite books in my teenage years- Nancy Drew Mysteries and more recently- Piercing the Darkness by Frank Peretti. I recommend this book to all teenagers with parental guidance as some of the scenes can be emotional and to adults. There is something for everyone.

Wow! This book is written so well that I was drawn in from the bery first page! It is really engaging and very descriptive so that I could really picture what was happening in my own imagination. I love the way the story unravels and you get to meet and learn about the charactera in auch an interesting way. It is by no means a basic story, it is excting, it has elements of mystery that unfold as you read. and I truly think this is a timeless book that I would not be done reading once - It's one of those books you want to read again because it is an experience in itself. As a teacher, I think that the technical writing in this book is an amazing example and model text that I would recommend for my students. It simply is a good read with more than just a story line but great lessons and morals to learn from it too which is very rewarding!
