Tomorrow’s world is an environmental musical play for children. The production is suitable for a class or even a whole school if desired. There is an opportunity for a choir, percussionists, a recorder group and dancers. The songs are easy to learn, great fun to sing, and not too difficult for a pianist to play.

It is humorous in places and also very emotive, creating a huge awareness of the problems of our world today and how our children, who are the future, can help to make a difference.

Barbara Florence Maddock worked as a teacher of music and drama in schools and colleges for over 30 years. Alongside her teaching, she specialised in music therapy with students with special needs and children in hospices. She also ran her own youth theatre group for many years writing her own shows and productions, also using her skills as a guitarist and keyboard player. Barbara is a published author having previously released an infant school production called See That Star.

This book has been sent to me, and I have to say, it is absolutely wonderful. So imaginative, draws you in, and super educational. What a way to enlighten children, particularly, to be mindful of protecting our planet, through an adventure. This must be distributed to schools globally and added to their curriculum. It is so current and really matters. The word needs to be spread from kindergarten upwards. An amazing piece of literary art. Bravo Ms Maddock.
