Nassim Nakad was born in Lebanon in 1975. He grew up in the exact neighbourhood where the long civil war started. He went from photography to taking filming courses in Italy and Canada. He has worked as a TV series editor, videographer and documentary maker. It wasn’t long before, time and passion took him back to the oldest form of storytelling ‘writing’.
*"War Trauma Chronicles"*: This novel intertwines real events from the Lebanese civil war with mythology, philosophy, and various fiction genres to create an anti-war narrative. It begins with the earliest memories of a young boy who survived the war, examining the effects of conflict on the human psyche, especially children. The book's structure blends present, future, and past timelines with reality, fiction, and theories, challenging readers' perceptions of reality…. I just couldn’t stop reading and was deeply touched by its dark humor.
