Lauren has had a varied career working for BBC TV and Radio. She went on to become General Manager for ZYX Records running the UK operation and promoting artists and recordings with a string of no. 1 hits. She then stepped into the world of independent film making in the capacity of producer and director. She works freelance on productions and works on her own productions. She loves reading, history, and the arts.

She studied at the Moscow Art Institute, then continued her education in Europe and finally in London at the Royal Academy of Arts, specialising in modern art, graphics, painting on silk and illustrations for books and theatre decorations.

I brought this book after a friend recommended for my 8 year old. Was not disappointed, the stories are well written and fun and teach us about caring for our environment. Nice Christmas gift

The author went to my son's school for a book read of Whispering Woods, my son and the other children really enjoyed meeting the author who also interacted in a drawing competition for the next book. The book has a good message to teach children, very well written with lovely illustrations.

Was recommended this book and was not disappointed. The story has a great underlining message about caring for each other and looking after the planet. Loved the wording and it was good so my child could ask what certain words meant. Highly recommend.
