Katreen Cook is a self-taught artist and children’s book creator who believes every story holds a little bit of magic. She wrote her very first book at eight – illustrated in crayon, of course – and has been dreaming in stories ever since.
Katreen draws inspiration from the wonder of the natural world and delights in celebrating the bonds of family. With every book, she hopes to spark wonder, joy, and endless imagination in children everywhere. She lives in Melbourne, Australia, with her husband, two curious children, and Coco – the bouncy Staffy who insists on starring in every tale.
