Epitaph for Brezhnev
Contained within the numerous items on display at the DDR Museum in Berlin is a brief though detailed account of a 1980 initiative on the part of the East German Politburo whereby the objective of this initiative was the seizure, by force, of West Berlin. Although the East German leader Erich Honecker and his colleagues in government were serious as regards to their incorporating West Berlin into East Germany, the Soviet Union, at that time, did not share the East German enthusiasm, due to the potential impact any invasion of West Berlin might have had on the Moscow Olympics and also because Brezhnev was conscious of Soviet presence in Afghanistan. However, two years later, with Leonid Brezhnev close to death, there are shenanigans afoot involving his would-be successors. One of the gambits is a plan by Yuri Andropov to resurrect the Erich Honecker initiative and deliver West Berlin for the Warsaw Pact. How would the West respond if this audacious Andropov power grab strategy was put into practice?

Eternity Should Not Be Lost to Us
The immortals are real, having existed in time for some 200,000 years or more, some of them deified as gods and goddesses in their long lives and their existence had been kept secret, and chronicled by the skolaks, the keepers of their history. One of the more notorious and most powerful of these immortals, Edelon, self-entombed for the last 500 years, is about to be resurrected by her lover Rutheven, finally reunited after all this time; although for Edelon their time apart was but months, for Rutheven his time without her was measured in centuries. Everything I Need to Know About Life I Learned from My Houseplants
Life is a journey and finding our place in that life can feel overwhelming. Who am I? Where do I belong? How do I cultivate a life that makes my heart happy?
“He who knows others is wise; he who knows himself is enlightened.” ― Lao Tzu
While there are many books written on self-discovery, Everything I Need to Know About Life I Learned from My Houseplants is unique in its approach by using the growth cycle and care of houseplants to impart wisdom and essential life lessons for living an authentic life.
Throughout the book, the author’s own journey of personal growth unfolds alongside practical information and care tips for raising happy, healthy houseplants. While this little book tackles some tough topics, such as her struggle with depression and experience in an abusive relationship, it is done with a lightness and humour that makes you feel like you’ve known the author for years.
This book will leave you feeling inspired and ready to change and improve your own life, as well as those of your houseplants.

Evolution: The Pattern
The origin of life is the fusion of two slightly different halves: fusion-fission, fusion-fission, fusion-fission… the rhythm of Life. In the beginning of all beginnings, an energetic proton and neutral neutron had fused into one whole. On planet Earth, the fusion took monumental proportions until the mating ritual has reached the highest conceivable degree. Love has a power to create life but also has a power to destroy it if its integrity is violated. Psychopath-men attack women, psychopath-women attack own children while breast, prostate and colorectal carcinomas are responsible for more than 20% human deaths whose incidence in great apes is less than 2%. Are humans on the decline? To find out this we have to unravel the mystery of the origin of life. Only if the sequence of the events in the story of life is correct, a pattern will emerge.

Evolving Perspectives
This book has been split into three separate parts. You can read each part as a separate book. They can also be read in any order.
These parts share characters and events, so after reading one part, you will find additional insights and perspectives in the other parts. The order you choose to read the parts will produce slightly different results regarding how you will feel about the events that unfold.
The book is designed to be an easy entertaining read filled with interesting well drawn characters. I have tried to include a real sense of place for the two principal cities in which the book is set: Brighton, UK, and Sydney, Australia.
The three parts are as follows:
Connect – A cyber-thriller based on what happens to a woman who has her Facebook account hijacked and enters the world of hackers and the Dark Web to try and find who did it and get revenge.
One for You – A comedy romance that follows a group of single people who sign up to a speed dating event to find their perfect partner. Some of the dates that result from the event lead to true love, but others provide hilarious results.
Only Hope – A morality tale about a man who pins all his future dreams in life on winning the lottery. Has he wasted his life waiting for something that will never happen, or will he win and be happy as he always hoped?
