Con Curtis gives a book talk on ‘Working at the End of the World: An Antarctic Diary’

Author of ‘Working at the End of the World: An Antarctic Diary’ attended an event and gave a talk and presentation about his experiences working in the coldest place on earth, which he has shared in his book.

There was also a 45-minute presentation that was well received by everyone in attendance. They showed their appreciation with applause.

Antarctica has a harsh beauty to it, a fact that will be apparent when you read Con Curtis’ book.

The author was a part of the two-person research trip to the region and faced diversity and psychological stress of living in a place like that.

The beginning of the book talks about the journey from England to Antarctica, which is a long one.

While he was there, he dwelled a lot on his life back in England.

A touch of humor is also present in the book and the style of writing is thoroughly entertaining.

The author worked with Family Services once he came back from Antarctica.

He specialized in rehabilitating young offenders, making good use of his degree in Youth Justice.

Aside from writing, he also likes photography and playing guitar in a cover band.
