R. G. Harmon participated in MyMarathon to raise funds for the Heart Foundation

Author of the book ‘The Broadway and the Englishman’, R. G. Harmon took part in a marathon by the Heart Foundation to raise funds for heart research. MyMarathon is an initiative of ‘The Heart Foundation’ to create awareness and raise funds for Heart Research in Australia.

Author’s book ‘The Broadway and the Englishman’ is an interesting and engaging story of a teen Bill who grew up in a middle-class English family during the Sino-Japanese war in China. A story set against the backdrop of war, the growth of a nation, the betrayal of a father and the influence of good friends, Bill traverses adulthood as a flawed man.

R. G. Harmon is also the author of The Missionary’s Son and The Prequel to The Broadsword and the Englishman.

 

The Author R. G. Harmon was born in Geelong, Australia in 1958. He entered the private enterprise after a seven-year stint in the Australian Army as an Officer in the Royal Australian Engineers including two years with Commandos. After his two children left home he and his wife realized a lifelong dream and undertook a lifestyle and career change.

R. G. Harmon now resides in country Victoria, he has now begun to write and establish himself as an author.
