Author of the book ‘Twisted Wires’, Sarina Wheatman delivered a helpful talk at ‘A Portsmouth Treatment Centre’ which is a drug treatment center based in Portsmouth. The author spoke on the subject of addiction and the mindset of people who battle drug addiction.

In her book ‘Twisted Wires’ she tries to explain the twisted and crazy world of addiction. She mentioned that why our attitude towards this subject should be more cohesive. She explained that in our society, addicts are treated like lepers, and this is the main hurdle in treating people with addiction.

Sarina is a therapist who loves traveling and to go digging for gems exploring different breathtaking locations of the world. Although she is dedicated towards the subject of recovery and addiction, she also loves geology so much that she says if she were offered a career change in another life she would become a geologist.
