The story opens in February 2023 when a group of strangers is invited on a special cruise to mark the silver anniversary of a travel agency. The journey begins in a cheerful mood as the ship heads toward the Canary Islands from Liverpool. Soon the atmosphere shifts. A mysterious figure seems to listen in on their conversations. Tension rises when one passenger disappears and another is discovered murdered. The group begins to question why they were brought together and what danger is waiting for them.
