Author Emma Champion To Attend a Book Signing Event at The Riverside, Hemel Hempstead

Emma Champion, the author of a beautifully-written book, Taiden’s Truth,  will be signing the copies of her book at Waterstones Hemel Hempstead on Saturday, 2nd November 2019. Readers seeking Contemporary genre would love to be at the event and get a signed copy of her book. A wonderful read, Taiden’s Truth builds up the layers between past and present of the characters. The islands of the Shalmeir are under disorder and the world gets threatened from a divine being, planning on revenge and destruction. Salzahr’s prophecy is to end the darkness but the so-called ‘Daughter of the Shalmeir’ is not to be found anywhere. The isolated princess befriends a prisoner captured in the cell of her castle home whose story has the prospect to undo the Shalmeir’s luck irreversibly. Would she be able to find the truth and possess the ability to accept it? Find out in this fascinating book. Author Emma Champion started her writing journey at the University of Hertfordshire where she won prizes for article and speech writing. She now enjoys her career as a writer of fiction. Residing presently in Hertfordshire, England, Emma enjoys travelling, film and television, and spending time with her family, close friends and a cute cat, Poppy.

The Author Veronica Gibbs Will Be Attending an Event at the Atkinson

All book lovers, keep your calendars marked as on Friday 1st November 2019, the author Veronica Gibbs who has penned down an interesting children’s book Tibbs Meets The Witch of Witchety Woods will be attending an event at The Atkinson. Come along with your little munchkins to meet Veronica and ask her about the book and her inspiration. Tibbs Meets The Witch of Witchety Woods is a lovely bedtime storybook for kids. Every night Cynthia goes out into the Witchety Woods on her broom. Everywhere is peace and calm until one night, when she fixes a powerful engine to her broom. Her broom creates so much noise and confusion everywhere. The powerful engine makes her broom collide with Mr Moon. Understanding the situation, Mr Moon decides to bring back peace and safety to the Witchety Woods. Find out more in this amazing book with striking illustrations. The author Veronica Gibbs is an active volunteer of the R.S.P.C.A. that works for the preservation of hedgehog society. She started writing children’s books after her retirement.

Author of What’s Wrong Arty, Linda Beckett, will be attending a Meet the Authors Event

Meet the author of a therapeutic children’s book, Linda Beckett at Library Bar, Apollo Hotel, Basingstoke on Thursday, 17th October 2019. The primary objective of the event is to entertain and support the development of young children through books. All the nursery, infant and primary school teachers, and parents are welcome to attend the event. What’s Wrong Arty? by Linda Beckett is a helpful children’s book which takes the children with mental health issues to an adventurous therapy. It’s an essential guide for parents and therapists to encourage their children to talk about things that worry them. The mental health issues are highlighted in the story of a large brown bear, Arty, who experiences everyday problems in his life. The book has many therapeutic techniques that can benefit both parents and teachers. Linda Beckett lives in Hampshire with her family. She has a degree in psychology from Open University and she is also a Graduate Member of the British Psychological. She is highly concerned about the mental health problems children face in their daily life.

Author IRA David Wood III to Attend an Event at Louisburg College

Ira will be discussing his journey of becoming an award-winning actor, director, playwright and published author. He is an inspiring person with a vast life and career experience. The Russian Galatea is a historical novel that revolves around the investigations of Nicholas Sokolov who is appointed as a legal investigator by the Supreme Commander of the White Army, Alexander Kolchak. Sokolov is looking into the murder case of Nicholas Romanov, the last of Tsar of Russia, who along with his family was massacred in the basement of a house by Russian Bolsheviks. While investigating the house, Sokolov finds an old picture of a young lady. He gets attracted to the lady in the picture without knowing whether she is alive or dead. It is a captivating novel that will be loved by the book readers. The renowned author and award-winning actor, director and playwright, Ira David Wood III lives in North Carolina. He is the founder of Theatre in the Park and nowadays, he is performing the duties of Executive Director.

The Oakleaf Reading Club to Host the Author Talk Event for Ira David Wood III

The accomplished author Ira David Wood III will be giving a talk about his book The Russian Galatea, his journey as an author and his inspiration for writing. The Russian Galatea is a captivating historical novel. Nicholas Romanov, the last of Tsar of Russia, along with his family was brutally murdered by Russian Bolsheviks in the basement of a house in Yekaterinburg. Nicholas Sokolov is an investigation officer appointed by Alexander Kolchak, the Supreme Commander of the White Army, to make sure that all the members of Romanov’s family are executed. As the investigations unfold, Sokolov gets attracted towards a faded picture of a lady. Unaware of her being alive or dead, he develops a deep connection as the time pass by. It is a detective story that revolves around Sokolov’s obsession of finding what actually happened with the Romanov’s family. Lavenham Library Invites Patrick Church for Author Talk Event

Author Patrick Church will be giving a talk at the Lavenham Library on Saturday 12th October 2019.
