Alice Vye Henningway to Visit the Maa-Lai Library for a Book Reading Session

Our highly esteemed author, Alice Vye Henningway, will be conducting a book reading session for her book, Nyika, I Love You, in the Maa-Lai Library on 25th February 2023, from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for readers to meet the author in person, and also gain insight into the inspiration behind the book. Nyika, I Love You is a deeply moving story about the power of friendship between two women from different backgrounds. Set against the backdrop of Zimbabwe's civil war, the novel explores the strength of the connection between Joanna, the daughter of a white employer, and Nyika, her black maid. As their bond grows, they navigate the turmoil of the conflict and find that their bond is unbreakable. Buy the book here. Alice Vye Henningway was raised in Zimbabwe and had a deep love for the African bush and its wildlife. Her family travelled to the Cape of Good Hope before the 1850s, and Alice has drawn on these experiences to write her next novel, "The Flamboyant," with the help of her uncle, who is an established author.

Ken Ward to Attend a Book Signing and Author Talk at the Golden Lion Hotel

Our talented author, Ken Ward, will be holding a book signing and author talk for his book, Time for Revenge, on February 16th, 2023, at 7:30 PM at the Golden Lion Hotel in Hunstanton. He resides in Norfolk with his wife Jan and two poodles. He is full of inspiration and has many ideas for the future.

In London, scenes from her Handel-inspired plays were performed in 2005 and 2009.

James McDonald To Conduct a Book Talk

Join the author to get his perspective, in an interactive session, behind a heartfelt account of his life of dealing and living with childhood trauma and focusing on positivity. He dealt with childhood trauma due to abuse and dropped out of school. James McDonald is a gifted writer with experience in counselling and working with traumatised children. He dropped out of school at 15 and worked in the engineering sector until the reckoning turned him to the field of counselling, spirituality and healing. Lois Bromfield to Hold a Talk at Höchstadt

The author of the book An American Comedian Lost in Bavaria, Lois Bromfield, will attend an event on 29 April 2023, 6 pm at Weinstube, Zum Zwetschger, Höchstadt. The author will discuss her autobiography with the audience. An American Comedian Lost in Bavaria is an autobiography which details the author’s experience living in Germany.
