Michael Rosenblum was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Washington, D.C area. Rosenblum is a popular motivational speaker, workshop leader and a sought-after expert on TV and radio in both the US and Canada. He set his sights on the competitive Chicago real estate market, quickly establishing himself as one of America’s most successful brokers. He is grateful to be able to share what he’s learned about fear and faith with young readers in his new children’s book The Caterpillar and the Butterfly. This ageless story introduces us to a caterpillar named "Fear". Fear is afraid of everything - the other critters who share the garden, lightning storms, being bullied and making new friends. A chance encounter with a wise butterfly named "Faith" helps Fear find the courage within to experience the world in a bolder and more joy-filled way.

 

What inspired you to write The Caterpillar and the Butterfly?

A strong desire to deliver two messages to the world:

Fear is faith inside out

And the end to any story should be happily ever always not after because “always” means endless whilst “after” means end/stop/done.

 

What inspired the plot and characters of your book?

The natural metamorphic process of a caterpillar to butterfly is the perfect analogy for explaining how fear is faith turned inside out. 

 

What is it that makes The Caterpillar and the Butterfly unique?

It’s a book for the ageless; children are captivated by the illustrations and adults find comfort in the message.

 

What three words would you use to summarise your book?

Happily Ever Always.

 

Have you got any goals in mind that you would like to achieve with The Caterpillar and the Butterfly?

Get the whole world to live the messages:

Fear is faith inside out

To live happily ever ALWAYS!

 

What is your proudest achievement with your book so far?

The fact people have taken time to write reviews online and share their thoughts with others.


Do you have any advice for aspiring children's book authors?

Believing in yourself will keep you motivated to achieve your goal.

 

Have you always written in the children’s genre?

This is my first of many.

 

Have you got any other books you’re looking to work on in the future?

Another children’s book to debut in 2022.
