Meg is a veterinary nurse caring for sick and injured animals. When she’s not at work, she loves to spend time with her cat, Betty, and her partner, Graham, in sunny Brisbane, Australia. Meg loves all animals and uses her spare time writing about different wildlife around the world. She takes inspiration from the leafy forest outside her window, which is filled with birds, bats, snakes, lizards, and possums. Graham learns to listen is her first picture book.
This is a charming story, and beautifully written. Graham Learns To Listen holds a mirror up to us all with an important lesson and we can’t help but be endeared to little Graham and the other animals of the sumatran jungle. I would have loved this book when I was a kid!
A wonderful book filled with creative and flowing prose, written by an exceptional young lady as, astoundingly, her first published work. Watch this space as I believe we can expect many more of Graham's antics in future releases. Meg Boxall has a great future as a writer. A talented and devoted veterinary nurse and, now a published author. Australia, and the world, need more authors like her and more books like this. A fantastic take on a children's book that not only entertains but informs and teaches through immersive and witty writing rather than 'talking down' to the reader and listener.
A great little book with important lessons!
