Book Description

It seems easy to understand. Just don’t eat anything made by animals. That’s easy to do, right? Shirley feels she needs to do this to attract the best-looking ram on the field. We are all sheep any way, moving around in herds, whether physically or in thought patterns. Could a change in widely accepted diets be undertaken by the herd?

By being a vegan for the past six years, the writer wanted to make the idea of veganism attainable. Noting the same thought trails the writer experienced when first starting the diet, the reader will feel more comfortable in trying the diet. And also let out some chuckles. Having being a meat eater since I was small and several health scares later from over working in IT sector (defence) with little scant time for free time and cooking for myself - my doctors gave me a kick up the ^%^%^% to change my life. I am now on mixed diet - cutting down on red meat, fatty take aways and as carer for my parents ( at moment) I am starting to enjoy cooking various dishes (relaxing) including Chicken, Fish and also mixing in with Quorn / Vegatables starting to become healthier Also forgot to say opting to use some Vegan kits - like Cream, Curry start up mixes to my meals - do need time though but with these books like on the Shirley range helping me out no bounds. This Thought provoking book on journey of author going Vegan by author is from the heart along with other books on the range of "Shirley" is well worth a read and purchase - whether it is on Print / Online / etc - well worth it. It's thought provoking, honest and straight forward read from the Shirley books - although I may not go 100% will do more to become healthier through working, home life. Again these "Shirley" books are well worth purchasing....
