What a lovely depiction of family love and kindness in "Strawberry adventure". I found Susan MK's story engaging, and the vibrant illustrations bring the scenes to life - it's almost as if I was there picking the strawberries with Imogen. As Imogen embarked on a fun-filled strawberry picking adventure she thoughtfully picked some blueberries for her Dad. This book reminded me of summer fruit picking adventures and the joy turning freshly picked fruit into a delicious treat. I loved the inclusion of a straw-berry milkshake recipe which I will be sure to make myself but it also encourages young readers to engage in something fun to do beyond the pages of the book. Well done to Susan MK on such a remarkable piece of work. I look forward to reading more about Imogen's adventures in future! A must-read for little ones who love adventures, food and family time!
